Ashley was born prematurely and weighed 2 pounds, 8 ounces. Ashley was admitted to ICU for about a month. Her family members that the Christmas Day would be her day for heart surgery. As her parents visited for a visit on Christmas Day, they were told by doctors that she had a closed heart. Ashley didn't need to undergo any operations. After 2 months in the hospital, she was released with 4 1/2 pounds. Since that time, she's never had any illness! Her father has English and German ethnic heritage. Her mother's family is from Ireland. In 2002, Ashley made her debut in a commercial to promote The Salon Surprise Barbie Doll. Ashley was then scouted at age 8 by the Ford Modeling Agency. Her work was steady in the printing industry and is still with the Agency. When she was 10, Ashley opted to train as an actor. Ashley performed in 35 commercials prior to moving on to theater roles. Ashley was able to find her calling. Ashley committed all of her time to acting and no longer found time to do modeling or dancing. Ashley's last character is "Hanna Marin", on ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars (2009). Ashley was also a guest in Romeo Miller (aka Lil Romeo) and Solange's music video for her track "True love". Britney Spears appeared during the Vogue Magazine shoot. The NLT music video of "That Girl" the singer is featured.
